Sabbath Morning at Death Valley

Barry and I rose early and had worship on a bluff overlooking our campsite.  The morning light set off the distant mountains in such a tranquil way.

Sleepy bunnies :)

Spring green in the desert!

After everyone awoke and a grand breakfast was had by all (our meals were spectacular!), we headed to Badwater basin, the lowest point in the U.S.

The guys in a canyon we hiked up.

Christy! I can't wait to go there with you next year! It is so extremely beautiful! And (I might add) you are a fantastic photographer to capture such beauty!

I'm always amazed at the beauty of the dessert! Looks like you guys are doing well and are enjoying life on the West Coast. P.S. I love your hat, Christy :-)

Wow! looks beautiful, excellent captures. I especially love the one of Barry taking a morning walk: was that frost or snow on the hills? And the subsequent green sprig. Nature is so amazing. :-)

Thanks Marty and Temple :)

Kelsey - actually, the white looking stuff is just sand! I thought it was really unique looking as well. Wait until my next post though, I'm going to post another picture that looks even more like snow! :) :)
